Levels

Elementary Level

It’s suitable for anyone with little or no knowledge of the Italian language; students will be taught to construct simple sentences about everyday life and to express themselves using a few basic verbs, but using them correctly.
They will also learn to ask for simple information, to introduce themselves in a formal way, to speak about their habits and work, to ask and speak about “likes” and “dislikes”, to express admiration and to speak about past events.

Intermediate Level

It’s suitable for anyone who knows the Italian language quite well; students will learn to construct complex sentences expanding their vocabulary and known expressions. They will also learn how to make requests in a polite way; to express surprise and how they are feeling, to speak about habitual actions in the past, to hold a telephone conversation, to express motives and give explanations on opinions and projects; to speak about travelling, dreams, hopes and ambitions.

Advanced Level

It’s suitable for anyone who knows the Italian language well; students will learn to understand a wide range of long and complicated texts and will also learn to work out implied meaning.
They will express themselves fluently and spontaneously with little difficulty in finding the right words. They will also learn to use the language in a flexible and efficient way for social, academic and professional situations. These students will be able to produce clear, well structured and articulate texts on complex subjects, demonstrating ability to control discourse structures, connecters and cohesion techniques.
